Switching

How to migrate from Jane

Switching booking software feels risky, but it doesn’t have to be. With a clear plan you can move your clients, services, and history over and go live with confidence.

Switching doesn’t have to be disruptive

Jane is a capable platform that many clinics use happily. If you’re considering a move, the goal is a clean, reversible transition — you keep a copy of everything, and nothing goes live until you’re ready.

1. Export your data from your current system

Most platforms let you export your core records — clients, services, and appointment history — as a CSV or spreadsheet. Pull that export first so you have your own copy in hand before you change anything.

2. Import your clients, services, and staff

Bring your client list and service menu into your new system by CSV, mapping the columns so names, contact details, and history land in the right place. Then add your team, hours, and locations.

3. Rebuild your booking page and go live

Set up your availability and booking page, switch on confirmations and reminders, and do a quick test booking. Many businesses run the two systems in parallel for a few days before flipping over fully.

Steps vary by provider; check your current platform’s documentation for how to export your data.

Run your business without the chaos

Booking, payments, clients, reminders, and growth in one calm platform. Start free — no per-practitioner fees, no commission.
