Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Starter, Team and Essential start with a free 14-day trial — no card, no strings. After the trial you land on the free-forever plan and only pay if you choose to upgrade. Scale has no trial and is billed today, and the Free plan is free forever.
I’m on Fresha / Vagaro / Square / paper. How painful is switching?
If you can export a CSV, our importer brings over three things: your clients, your services, and your past appointments. Everything else — your team, memberships, packages, gift-card balances, stored cards — you set up fresh in Settings. How long that takes depends on how clean your export is; ask and we’ll help you through it. Your old system keeps working until you flip the switch.
Do you take a commission on my bookings or payments?
Never. You keep 100% of every appointment. Card payments carry only the standard processor rate — we add nothing on top, and we never charge per booking.
What do SMS reminders actually cost?
Email reminders are included on paid plans. SMS is a $15/mo add-on with 200 texts included, then $0.10 per message — pricing is on the pricing page, not hidden in checkout.
What happens to my data if I leave?
It’s yours. Export signed forms as PDF on every plan and full reports as CSV, Excel, or PDF on Essential and up, and request a complete copy of your client data before you close your account. Cancel in two clicks — month-to-month, no contracts, no exit fees.
